A question I sent my friend earlier this week, about music’s newest reluctant superstar, encapsulates the allure of both the artist and his music. You’d have to be living under a stupid rock to have not heard of Noah Kahan, most recent SNL musical guest and “Best New Artist” Grammy nominee.

I’ve heard his songs somewhat passively for the past year or two, but it wasn’t until his recent collaboration with Hozier on the song “Norther Attitude” that I went full deep dive— repeat on repeat on repeat.
